First App from Ripley's Believe It or Not! is Tough to Swallow

Ripley's allows users to sharpen their sword swallowing skills with
new app for iPhone, iPod Touch
 
ORLANDO, Fla. (July 29, 2011) - Sword swallowing. Yeah, there's an app for that - thanks to Ripley's Believe It or Not!
 
Ripley's first-ever app is called iSword, and was created for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It allows players to test the speed of their reactions in a sword swallowing game that unlocks iSword, a cutting-edge experience that utilizes the device's camera for a truly unique, virtual-reality sword swallowing simulation.
 
Ripley Entertainment Inc. has teamed up with Conjure to launch a range of apps to promote its amusement attractions, publications and to extend its brand.
 
Ripley iSword also features:
  • Spreads from Ripley's Believe It or Not! Strikingly True, Ripley's new annual that comes out on September 13
  • Sword swallowing stories
  • Full listings for all Ripley's Believe It or Not! attractions
Ripley iSword is a free app available through Apple's iTunes store.
